Andrea Brannock is a Birth Boot Camp instructor, Birth Boot Camp doula, Birth Boot Camp Instructor Trainer, and proud owner of Adore Birth Services! Andrea's doula services include both rebozo and spinning babies, and she serves Glen Rose, Granbury, Cleburne, Stephenville, Burleson, Fort Worth, Weatherford, Hulen, Benbrook, and Mansfield. Additionally, Andrea is a licensed massage therapist!

What do you love most about being a doula?
I think what I love most is watching mom's partner. Mom's partner has such an awesome role in the birth of their baby. When the partner is able to be in the active role, watching mom fall in love with them all over again, it just melts my heart. When the baby is finally in the world and watching a partner be in awe of mom and this new baby they have. It really is magical.
Why did you become a doula and how long have you been working in this field?
I became a doula in 2013 after the birth of my third child. She was my first out-of-hospital experience and it was pure magic. I wanted to help others to experience the same feelings I did during her birth.
What makes your doula service different from others?
I think what sets me apart from others is my calmness. I thrive in environments where I get to serve others so when I am at birth I am at my calmest and really able to pour all of myself into my clients.
What is one stereotype you wish you could correct about your industry?
That doulas aren't professional or that we are only for home birth families. I honestly love supporting my hospital and birth center birth clients. I feel that I play such a valuable role to those families. It really helps to make their birth experience something they can cherish.
What is one of your favorite doula secrets/tips that you share with clients?
Bendy straws are your friend! Mom needs to stay hydrated but the last thing she wants to do deal with holding a cup and trying to drink from it. Enter bendy straw...
What is one thing you would tell an expectant mother about birth?
The birth of your baby is one of the days you will remember for the rest of your life. Plan for it. Do the things you need to do to make it wonderful, just as you would for your wedding.
What areas do you serve and why?
I serve Fort Worth, Burleson, Granbury, Glen Rose, Stephenville, and surrounding areas. I live in Glen Rose which is a small town south of Fort Worth and love serving in my community.
